SkyDrive desktop app was also released with heaps of features and up to 25GB of free space for veteran users. Yesterday, SkyDrive app for Windows Phone was updated and it solves long pending option of uploading same quality image. What I needed the space for was to increase productivity and make files and documents available for clients and employees in my business, and I can't even do that. Past couple of weeks have been fruitful in terms of new cloud service and features it has to offer. As the Swiss knife of cloud storage, it covers all the essential needs for professional and personal use: with Wuala, you can store your files securely online, share them with select others, access them from anywhere, setup automatic backups of your local data, or synchronize whole folders to the cloud. Now, it seems, I cannot even use the space to any great advantage, because I can only store stuff from my iTunes account, and/or iWork (which I don't use anyway). When I heard that Apple were going to be providing Mobile Me customers with 25 GB of cloud space, I was very pleased indeed. ![]() Unbelievable!!! I can't honestly believe that Apple are resorting to these shady Microsoft-esque tactics and deliberately entrapping people to use only Apple products in order to benefit from the platforms at all!Īs an ex mobileme user who has paid for mobile me for the last few years, I was annoyed that Apple were suddenly making everything free for everyone.
